Why NH Art Studios?

I have always had a passion for the arts. I enjoy being involved in creating and leaving my mark in the world.
I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher and I have been involved in education for the past 11 years. I have enjoyed the time that I have spent teaching and growing as a professional. Continuing on my new journey I am excited to focus my time and energy guiding minds and hands with creative and innovative art classes.
That is why I have begun my own Art Studio. I want to impart the joy and happiness that art has brought into my life with our community. Art is not only creative but is also therapeutic, stimulates critical thinking, develops and elevates all areas of learning.

I have one child and he is my world!
He would come home and watch YouTube, although it is something I am not happy with, I allowed it because he needed the break after a day at school and it helps with his boredom.
When the opportunity of art classes presented itself in Newcastle it really sparked my interest because it is something unique and different to have been offered.
I loved the service because he looked forward to art class with so much excitement and enthusiasm he asked me almost everyday when is Art class?
It made me feel comfortable and happy as a mom that he is doing something constructive rather than watching tv and also being happy at the same time.
At first I did hesitate to buy the course, and although school does offer art I personally felt the individual attention and the teachers years of experience in art and her approach towards kids were fantastic! The small classes and sense of security will benefit my child in expanding his imagination and growing his self confidence.
The fact that my child looked forward to a learning experience has made a world of difference to me due to his anxious nature, the art he brought home is honestly amazing to think a 6 year old is capable of such! Every time I was completely surprised and proud of him! He now actually enjoys coloring and drawing at home which he didn't enjoy as much as before.
